ABOUT ME
I have been supporting individuals, parents and families, and employees for over 20 years, as a teacher, deputy headteacher and a coach. I understand the demands of family life, having been divorced and widowed, as well as balancing being a parent with a demanding, full-time career.
I have worked in senior leadership in large schools, with 80+ staff reporting to me. I understand the pressures of stakeholder needs and ever changing industry demands and the impact that this has on staff well-being.

Behind all this is a personal story, which has driven me to work in this field. I was diagnosed with ADHD in my late 40s and realise that this has been the missing piece in my jigsaw puzzle. As an adolescent and as a young adult, my life was completely chaotic - I struggled to access my studies, I found it difficult to hold down a job and could not organise my personal life or maintain relationships. Understandably, this had a significant impact on my mental health. Two things saved me and enabled me to put a metaphorical flag in the chaotic landscape of my life - one was training as a teacher, and experiencing the joy, confidence boost and thrill of being good at something (and loving it) for the first time in my life. The second was forming a postive and healthy relationship with a supportive partner (who recognised the neurodivergence in me). When he passed away, I found within me an undefeatable strength that propelled me onwards and showed me who I really was and what I could acheive.

This is why I am passionate about supporting neurodivergent people to find the 'right fit' for themselves - professionally and personally, and to realise that they can harness the power within and thrive, just as I have.

I am a qualified coach with a diploma in Personal Performance Coaching. I have a TQUK Level 2 in Child and Adolescent Mental Health, and am also a qualified NLP Practitioner.
